Buck is committed to protecting our workers’ health and safety above all else. If a job cannot be done safely, it will not be done at all. Our employees play a significant role in the success of our overall safety program. We believe accidents are preventable, and we carry out our safety responsibility not only as individuals, but as a team, implementing rigid safety procedures which our team must follow.

Buck’s Safety Objectives

  • Train every employee to recognize unsafe conditions and implement safe work practices in their trade
  • Follow safety procedures and rules as listed in our safety program and as instructed by our weekly tool box talks performed by our foremen
  • Enforce the use of appropriate safety equipment — personal protective equipment, fall protection, etc.
  • Perform regular job site safety inspections to identify unsafe conditions and make recommendations for safety improvement
